Getting Started in CAS!
What will you need during
your CAS session?
-
Your unofficial
transcript, or some other documentation of what courses you've already
taken (you'll need to know the course prefix, number, credits and grade,
as well as the year and term that you took each course).
Why create an account in
CAS?
-
CAS cares about your
privacy! Your account provides secure access, via a username and
password that you select, to your data.
-
If you would like to
enter courses you've taken to see how they'll apply to programs at a
transfer school, your CAS account will store those for you. You
won't have to re-enter your courses each time you use CAS.
-
If you create
personalized transfer planning guides in CAS, your CAS account will store
those guides for you to review the next time you visit CAS. If you'd
like to share your guides with your advisor, they will be stored for you
in your CAS account.
What if you don't create
a CAS account?
-
You can log into CAS as
a guest. This will allow you to view course descriptions, transfer
guides, academic program information, and the course equivalency guide.
-
You will not be able to
enter your courses, or create any personalized transfer planning guides
unless you create an account, and log into CAS as a member.
