The position of ATASS Business Analyst is responsible for
coordinating and supporting Arizona institutional participation in the Course
Applicability System, and ensuring that the system is useful to students,
advisors, faculty, administrators, and others in the state of Arizona.
The ATASS Business Analyst's duties include, but are not limited
to, the following.
- Assist institutions in developing implementation plans for CAS
- Develop and deliver CAS training within the state, and support institutional
efforts to provide CAS training to their constituents.
- Identify and resolve CAS implementation and usage issues
- Formulate and recommend system changes and improvements
- Coordinate with Articulation Facilitator to keep transfer model current
- Facilitate continued enhancements of online services for Arizona students
- Coordinate institution timelines with CAS services
- Maintain CEG production schedule
- Maintain common course matrices, in consultation with the Articulation
Facilitator
- Provide current information for ATFs regarding evaluations and equivalencies
- Develop and deliver DARwin training within the state
- Maintain the ATASS website
- Prepare reports for statewide use
- Provide decision support for impact analysis
- Report and track trends
- Develop means for delivering regular and ad-hoc reports to interested parties (subsequent to training).
- Monitor timely evaluation of courses
- Alert Arizona Transfer Articulation Committee (ATAC) Members of overdue evaluations
- Coordinate and lead CAS Implementation Committee Meetings
- Attend Arizona Transfer Articulation Committee Meetings
- Respond to requests from the Academic Program Articulation Steering Committee (APASC)
- Participate in the Statewide Quality Assurance Team
- Support the Articulation Facilitator in responding to issues identified by
APASC, ATAC, or the ATFs.
